Mammoth Mountain Ski Resort

Mammoth ski resort is beautiful. It is huge. It has many runs with various difficulty levels. I can go onto easy blue runs if I feel warming up. I can go onto blue-black runs if I want to practice my skills and tune up my speed. I can challenge myself on black runs if I am really up to it. I can go onto all the double-black runs if I feel like commit-suiciding :) Runs are not particularly long. The resort is not as crowded as the ones along Lake Tahoe. The down side of it, of course, is the driving distance. We stayed at south Lake Tahoe for the night and started driving early the next morning in order to reach Mammoth by 10:00 AM. We got lucky that day because the road was clear and bare.
